Operate Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters from an assistant: inspect pods, events and logs, and create or change resources.
Best for
Platform and DevOps engineers who want an assistant to inspect and debug clusters, including OpenShift, through the Kubernetes API rather than shell wrappers.
This server runs on your machine. Pick your client for the matching config; placeholders stand in for any secrets.
Before you connect
With your kubeconfig it can create, change and delete resources and run commands inside pods. For production, the README points to a setup with a dedicated ServiceAccount and read-only access.

This is a native Go MCP server that talks to the Kubernetes API server directly instead of wrapping kubectl or helm. By default an assistant gets the core and config toolsets: it can list and inspect pods, read logs and events, run a command in a pod, and create, update or delete any resource. Helm, Tekton, KubeVirt, Kiali and observability tools are optional toolsets you enable in the configuration. It uses your kubeconfig, so it reaches the clusters and contexts that file defines, including several at once. It ships as a single native binary, an npm or Python package, and a container image. It is a community project.
No separate credentials: it uses your kubeconfig, or the in-cluster configuration when it runs inside a cluster.
npm package, Python package (PyPI), Docker image (started with uvx)
