Work with a Stripe account from an assistant: look up payments and customers, search the docs and call API methods.
Best for
Developers and finance teams who want an assistant to check payment, customer and subscription data or find the right API call without leaving their editor or chat.
This server is hosted by its publisher. Pick your client for the matching setup.

Write tools can change real data on live accounts. Stripe recommends turning on your client's tool-approval setting to review calls, and taking care when pairing Stripe with other servers because of prompt-injection attacks.
Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then enter this URL: https://mcp.stripe.com

https://mcp.stripe.comStripe hosts an MCP server at mcp.stripe.com. Once a client is authorized, an assistant can search Stripe's API methods and documentation, read data from the account, and call write methods to create or change objects. Further tools cover analytics queries and, in public preview, Treasury actions such as moving money. Interactive clients sign in with OAuth and pick which live accounts or sandboxes to grant; autonomous clients use an agent API key. Stripe labels the MCP server as a public preview, so expect the tool set to change.
OAuth for interactive clients, where you choose which live-mode accounts or sandboxes to grant and with what permissions, or an agent API key sent as a bearer token for autonomous clients. An administrator can switch MCP access on or off for the team in the Dashboard. Stripe says that from December 2026 it will stop accepting full-access secret keys and restricted keys without the Agent tag.

Registry name com.stripe/mcp. The registry's authentication docs describe DNS or HTTP verification of the domain for names in this reverse-DNS form (read 2026-10-31). Stripe's own documentation at docs.stripe.com/mcp describes the server and its tools, and the registry's repository is the stripe/agent-toolkit repository, whose README (the repository is now stripe/ai) says Stripe hosts the remote MCP server at mcp.stripe.com (read 2026-10-31).
Listing on HistChat is not an endorsement or a security review. MCP servers can access data or perform actions, so review the source and permissions before connecting.
