Overview

The Atlassian Rovo MCP Server is a cloud-hosted bridge between an assistant and Atlassian products. Its tools are grouped by permission, with read, write and search scopes for Jira and Confluence and further scopes covering areas such as Bitbucket, Jira Service Management, Loom and Compass. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 or API tokens, and Jira Service Management requires API tokens. Atlassian recommends the v2 endpoint and documents a migration from v1, and some tools, including delete_jira and manage_jira, stay disabled until an administrator enables them.

Sign-in and credentials

OAuth 2.1 in a browser, or API tokens for headless use. Jira Service Management supports API tokens only, and only if an organization admin has enabled API-token authentication.
